Welcome
To understand computers and digital technology, people often rely on family, friends and colleagues. A good community is the basis of our society, but when the people you usually turn to for help don’t know the answers you need, our machines can appear mysterious and out of control. It needn’t be that way, though.
We help you understand your computer and other digital products so you can get the most out of them, from cameras to websites.
We get the right products for you, at the right prices, and take the time to show you why they matter and how they work best.
Our work to date includes:
- Sorting out a new computer
- Getting set up with broadband and making the most of the Internet
- Adding more storage to a laptop
- Installing a new printer that can print photos and scan in documents
- Creating a wireless network for laptops, or PCs tucked away in bedrooms
- Advising on which portable music player to buy and coaching on how to use it
- Playing music stored on a computer through the hifi, or speakers throughout the house
- Explaining the real benefits of digital photography
- Educating children about how to use the Internet sensibly
And of course we do the usual computer maintenance jobs, like cleaning up after viruses and recovering your data from system crashes.
For a first time session with a new customer, we will typically:
- Discuss your needs with you
- Order any desited equipment, from music players to whole new computer systems
- Get it all ready for you
- Spend the morning installing and setting everything up in your home…
- …and take all afternoon to give you friendly and patient computer coaching
Home Rates are £200/day, with half days available.
Business Rates start from £50/hour, or £300/day.
